For almost everyone, at some stage in their lives, they will face a job interview and their immediate, or indeed their long-term, career will depend on that 30/40 minute period.
Not everybody is able to ace that interview and InterviewPrep’s Mock Interview training course incorporates a 5-step approach to training and preparation which offers a comprehensive package which will help you to achieve your ultimate goal – securing that dream job!
Everybody has different strengths and weaknesses and the training will highlight both aspects. People often forget that their strengths also need to be worked on! Any areas for improvement are discussed in a sensitive manner. Advice for improving your performance will be delivered in a constructive manner.
After the mock interview and feedback session, you will receive a detailed report highlighting the areas discussed and guidance on how to address any areas that need improvement in your preparation for interview.
InterviewPrep also goes that one step further. From experience, there are often follow-up questions or clarifications that clients have and an additional telephone/video call is included in the package, usually within a couple of weeks of the initial training session, so that any outstanding queries can be resolved.

Tailored approach
At InterviewPrep, I do not adopt a one-type-fits-all approach. Everybody has different levels of work experience, interview experience, life experience.
For many people who contact me, they want a mock interview as they have an interview coming up and they want specific guidance for a specific role.
For others, particularly those at the start of their working career, they are applying for a range of jobs and are potentially facing numerous interviews – some of which may be the more traditional style and others may be competency based. My Introduction to the Interviewing Process course offers a broader overview of all elements of the interviewing process and can be more suitable to those at the beginning of their career path.
Remember – the key to success is preparation!
Civil & Public Service Recruitment and Promotion
For many people, applying for a job in the civil or public service will be their first employment application. They are often anxious as they feel they have no experience to rely on when called upon for interview. For others, they may have been working in the private sector and are doubtful whether their private sector experience is transferable into the public sector. My training programme specifically designed for the civil and public service caters for all applicants both young and old, with little or lots of experience.
Promotion competitions, which are now almost all competency based, are also catered for. The training courses are adaptable to suit all levels of experience – just because you have been in the one grade for a long period of time should not preclude you from getting on to the next step of the promotional ladder!
